Operational Success Framework Training

Our OSF training workshops are a great way for smaller teams who want to roll out the Framework into their businesses themselves.

Framework

Training for up to 12 people

This course will give you a high level introduction into the Operational Success Framework; the concepts and ideas on how to get started. Also includes training materials such as:

  • Introduction to the Risk Fluent Framework guidebook in hard copy for each delegate
  • Operational Success workbook
  • Deck of Risk Fluent ‘Leaders Convo Cards’ for each delegate
  • Deck of Risk Fluent ‘Context Cards’ for each delegate

Operational Culture

Training for up to 12 people 

This course is half a day focused on operational culture and how to foster and design in success. You will cover:

  • The cultural foundations – what they are and the role they play
  • Leadership – The different styles and types, and how to use them
  • Collective accountability – How to deal with blame and build accountability

Human
Performance

Training for up to 12 people

This course is half a day focused on human performance and the role it plays in operational success. You will cover:

  • Influencing behaviour – Why people make errors, how to influence choices and consider ergonomic design
  • People-centred work – Explore the power of cognitive diversity, how to build ownership and engagement
  • Competency – Explore why competency is the biggest missed opportunity in your operation

Organisational
Learning

Training for up to 12 people

This course is half a day focused on organisational learning and the role it plays in operational success. You will cover:

  • Organisational Drift– How organisations drift from their processes and goals and how to manage it
  • Psychological Safety – What it is and how to build it in your work place
  • Holistic Learning – How to learn from all facets of not only your business but everyone else’s as well!

Operational Reliability

Training for up to 12 people 

This course is half a day focused on operational reliability, exploring risk management and resilience in practical terms. You will cover:

  • Risk-based thinking– Explore the theories, philosophies and frameworks behind risk management and resilience
  • Risk Management– Explore a holistic risk management approach, what that looks like and how to do it
  • Resilience– How to understand resilience in your business, identify coupling and build capacity

Operational Success Master class

This combined package delivers all aforementioned courses as a single course with bonus home exercises

Operational Success Accelerator

This package is designed to upskill two members of your team to facilitate learning exercises and implement the Operational Success Framework within your business.

  • 2 x “Introduction to the Risk Fluent Framework” training sessions for up to 12 delegates**, to include:
    • Session 1 – Reliability and Culture condensed
    • Session 2 – Human Performance and Organisational Learning condensed
  • Digital coaching session on the “Learning Convos” technique
    • Delegate led exercise on “Learning Convos”
  • Digital coaching session on the “Context Explorer” technique
    • Delegate led exercise running “Context Explorer”
  • Digital coaching session on planning and running a Learning Team
  • Observed Learning Team facilitated by the elected ‘coachees’ and supported by Risk Fluent
  • Review and feedback on the 2 x Learning Teams, and support with how they can develop the specific report from those sessions
    • Digital coaching session on ‘how to develop a learning report
    • Final coaching session to plan how the coachees will move forward with carrying out the Learning Team process independently
    • All training materials provided including a digital workbook for the two coachees, Framework Guidebooks, and Context and Leaders Convo cards for each of the 12 training delegates.
    • All Risk Fluent expenses included, with the exception of any venue hire/catering etc. required as detailed below.
    *Additional costs such as room hire/catering etc. cost not included.
    **The same delegates should be in attendance for both sessions for continuity.

    Bespoke Transformational Partnerships

    These are perfect for those safety teams that are looking to drive cultural and risk transformation in their business, but feel they need support and guidance; a friend to lean on so to speak.

    We tend to work with customers on transformational partnerships over longer periods to really embed the transformation.

    These partnerships typically include:

    • Strategy and goal setting days
    • Regular support days for workshops, consulting, gap analysis etc.
    • Regular coaching for the safety team
    • Leadership and team member training
